Carrefour is rolling out Microsoft Dynamics AX for OMNI-Channel order management.
 

The Challenge

 
Carrefour required building a loyalty card management system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX for the China market. The system needed to handle 200+ million customers and millions of transactions on a daily basis on real-time and offline mode. The biggest challenge is to migrate billions of legacy system transaction in the new system.

 

The Solution

 
42 Hertz helped design and architect the system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX. The system is able to integrate data from millions of transactions from cash terminals in a highly performant manner.

 

The Final Outcome

 
Using Microsoft Dynamics AX to manage the loyalty card program for Carrefour enables Carrefour to increase customer loyalty and sales in a competitive retail marketplace in China. The business intelligence that can be gained from collecting this data would in the future enable Carrefour to provide better product mix to its customers, improving product turnover and profitability.
